Assignments
Students may submit documents using the LMS either through the Assignment or Turnitin tools. The Assignment tool can be used by staff to facilitate easy collection of documents submitted electronically by students. When students submit a document, the attempt is recorded in the Gradebook to alert staff to the submission. Staff can bulk-download submissions then provide feedback, grades and/or additional documents to individual students.
Assignments can also be downloaded using Turnitin, though graded documents cannot be returned to individual students. Turnitin reviews student work for originality, comparing electronically submitted papers to billions of pages of content located on the Internet and proprietary databases as well as the work of other students whose papers have also been submitted into the system.

Turnitin is online web-based text-matching software used by many universities in Australia and internationally to provide originality reports for documents submitted by students. Turnitin is now available for use within the LMS.
