Guest access
Subject coordinators may elect to make part or all of their subject site accessible by the general public by using the guest access function of the LMS. Sites that have been made available to the public can be accessed via the subject catalogue.
For subject promotion purposes, a direct link to a guest accessible subject may be provided from a department/school/faculty website. A direct link may be created using the following URL:
http://app.lms.unimelb.edu.au/webapps/ies-guesturl-bb_bb60/guest.jsp?subject_id=with the full subject ID added to the end of that URL. An example URL looks something like:
http://app.lms.unimelb.edu.au/webapps/ies-guesturl-bb_bb60/guest.jsp?subject_id=123456_2008_2Resources

Access to any copyright material included on the LMS under Part VB of the Copyright Act 1968 must be restricted to students enrolled at the University of Melbourne. Access for external or guest users is not permitted.
