Saving your subject for re-use
Subject and community sites are not automatically saved or 'rolled-over' in the LMS from one semester to subsequent semesters. There are several actions you can take as a subject coordinator in the LMS to preserve your subject site for future re-use.

Use this function to select and package parts of your subject you wish to export and import into another LMS subject site. - Subject copy (144KB PDF)
Use this function to copy across from an existing LMS subject to a new or existing subject site. - Subject archive (117kb PDF)
Use this function to save an exact record of your subject including student user records.
Subject options for Semester 2, 2008
Before the start of each semester, empty LMS subject sites are made available ready to be designed and developed for the next subject offering. There are now some additional options to make this task more efficient. These are:
- Subject site copy forward
- Subject template
- Default blank subject site
