Setting up your subject
LMS subjects and communities are provided with a basic default template which is fully customisable. Some of the options that teaching staff may choose from include adding or removing items from the subject menu, changing the default entry point, adding a link to the subject handbook entry, changing the colour scheme and/or adding a subject banner.
By default, an LMS subject is not visible to enrolled students until a member of teaching staff has made it available or automatically at the beginning of semester at a specified date. A subject can be returned to 'unavailable' if necessary.
Note: Semester 2 2008 LMS subjects will automatically be made available to students enrolled in these subjects on Monday July 21st.

LMS subject banner creation tool
The LMS subject banner creation tool allows you to dynamically construct a banner which you can upload into your LMS subject. Once uploaded, the banner will appear at the top of the Announcements page.
