User management

Guest access

Subject coordinators may elect to make part or all of their subject site accessible to the general public by using the guest access function of the LMS. Sites that have been made available to the public can be accessed via the external subject catalogue.

For subject promotion purposes, a direct link to a guest accessible subject may be provided from a department/school/faculty website. A direct link may be created using the following URL:

http://app.lms.unimelb.edu.au/webapps/ies-guesturl-bb_bb60/guest.jsp?subject_id=

then add the full LMS subject ID;

For ISIS codes the URL would look like this example:
http://app.lms.unimelb.edu.au/webapps/ies-guesturl-bb_bb60/guest.jsp?subject_id=HIST11005_2013_SM2
